The ideal candidate will have a strong background in battery storage systems, energy management, and commercial sales. As a Storage Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling commercial battery storage products in conjunction with Hermans Technisolar’s solar solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our market presence in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for promoting battery storage solutions in alignment with Hermans Technipower’s commercial product offerings.
  • Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their energy needs and propose tailored solutions that integrate battery storage with solar products from Hermans Technisolar.
  • Prepare and present quotations for integrated solar and battery storage projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Provide technical and commercial expertise to customers, advising them on the feasibility and benefits of incorporating battery storage into their energy management systems.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and developments in the battery storage segment, conducting market analyses to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Hermans Technipower at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase our products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the energy sector with a focus on battery storage solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of battery storage systems, energy management principles, and solar technologies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry partners.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
