Hermans Technipower commercial energy storage solutions can maximise energy-consumption from self-generated sources, balance the power of an inconsistent grid supply, offer resilience against power-grid outages, provide power factor correction that reduces instability and equipment failure, and shift power between peak and off-peak rates of electricity for optimised cost savings.

The system uses a power conversion system (PCS) with transformer and battery packs: the bi-directional PCS converts electricity between the DC battery packs and AC supply, synchronising with the grid when available and black starting to provide backup power; while battery packs can be specified to match energy storage needs.
