The Cloud has been transformed by Impact Vastgoed into a sustainable, innovative, modern, and future-proof office building. As part of the transformation, Hermans Technisolar were required to provide solar panels to make the building more energy efficient.
To meet high durability requirements, Hermans Technisolar supplied customised and insulated Powerglaz panels for the atrium, with a total installed capacity of 35 kWp. The BIPV panels cover the original courtyard, creating a transparent and open atrium.
The new atrium is the central hub for all tenants in the office building, and the Powerglaz solar panels contributed to getting a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification.
