The municipality of Voorst wanted an attractive and unique town hall that was to be a paragon of sustainability. The building was to be stripped down to the shell and rebuilt in a sustainable way.
Due to the importance of sustainability in this project, as many bio-based materials were used as possible. We installed our energy efficient PowerGlaz solar panels. A total capacity of 13,088 Wp, was distributed over 32 active PowerGlaz solar panels that are expected to annual yield approximately 11,600 kWh under ideal conditions.
As a result, we provided a sustainable solution to collect energy. In summer, excess heat is stored in a large underground water tank.
